WANT TO REDUCE THE COST OF YOUR FORGINGS?
ELIMINATE SMOKE, FIRE AND EXPLOSIONS?
ENHANCE METAL MOVEMENT AND RELEASE?
SPEED UP PRODUCTION?
Renite water-based forging lubricants are bringing a new kind of controlled accuracy to Press and Upset forging operations as well as to some Extrusion and Hammer work. When used as concentrates,
they are swabbed (or sprayed under pressure) on dies and tools.
Generally speaking, they should be diluted further with several
parts of clean city water and spray-applied on dies and fools with
special Renite manual, stationary or reciprocating spray equipment.
The dilution ratio should vary from job to job so as to achieve
an adequate degree of dry plating that will oxidize or go away
cleanly after every forging cycle. A 4:1 ratio with water may
be necessary where metal movement requirements are severe or where extreme high die temperatures are encountered. A 20:1 ratio with water may be recommended on certain other types of jobs. Renite
Mote-Sprays automatically repeat the spray cycle, forging after forging, while Renite Tank 8 Pump Systems keep the Renite lubricant under continual recirculation and under slight spray pressure. Renite Atomizers provide positive spray control--no dripping, no leaking, no drying out in the liquid supply line.
Lubricants like our Renite S-26 (steel and brass) and Renite S-28 (aluminum) are non-flammable, non-corrosive, non-toxic, non-staining and not subject to bacteria attack or to rapid decomposition from freeze and thaw cycles. They contain no heavy metals, chromates or sulphur-type additives. They are thick, pourable liquids that are always flowable, and, in particular, they are low in cost.
It is relatively simple and quick for you to test these materials on one of your forging presses. We will gladly send you a gallon sample, at no charge except shipping, and assist you further if you will let us know of your interest.
